Invetment Analyst

A successful candidate for the analyst role will have a strong analytical mindset, a good understanding of corporate finance and business development, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be a self-starter (whilst being a team-player). This is a unique position where you will work closely with the Provident owners and with seasoned professionals and you will get deeply involved in multiple disciplines (M&A, financing, corporate strategy, etc.) and industry verticals, and you will partner with key people/teams within Provident, as well as within our portfolio companies. ​ The role is Singapore-based, with frequent travel to Jakarta expected (once Covid-19 travel restrictions allow). ​ Responsibilities:

• Financial analysis, financial modelling, valuation analysis

• Prepare transaction proposals and other presentation materials

• Coordinate due diligence

• Support transaction documentation and structuring

• Market research

• Monitor portfolio companies

• Assist, support and maintain close relationships with portfolio companies, ecosystem partners and stakeholders

​ Candidate Requirements:

• Graduate with a degree in finance, accounting, business or related fields

• Up to 3 years’ experience in corporate finance, buy-side, strategic consulting, professional financial (banks, accounting firms, etc) or law firms

• Recent graduates with some relevant internships will also be considered

• Strong interest in and potentially understanding of the Indonesian market and business environment

• Strong analytical capabilities to process information and understand business models

• Solid financial modelling skills with extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong operational, organization, coordination, and project management skills

• Strong attention to detail and keen sense of ownership of work products and outcomes

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact, liaise and build strong relationships with all levels of management across Provident, its investee companies and other stakeholders

• Business fluency in English required, business fluency in one or other of Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia would be additive but is not a pre-requisite

• Graduate with a degree in finance, accounting, business or related fields
